You can. We usually recommend against it. The Diagnose step is where we find out what's actually broken. Skipping it means building on assumptions, and that usually leads to fixing the wrong thing. If you've already done a real internal review and have a clear picture of what's going on, we can talk about starting at Build.
The flat fee covers everything within the agreed scope. No hourly billing, no surprise invoices. We confirm the full scope in writing before the project starts. If something outside that comes up mid-project, we flag it and agree on a path before touching it.
Most Build engagements run 4–8 weeks depending on complexity. A website rebuild with new positioning takes closer to 6–8 weeks. A lead gen system build without a full website can move faster. We'll give you a realistic timeline before we start.
We can scope a Build engagement to focus on one area if the Diagnose confirms that's the right priority. The pricing reflects the scope. A focused website rebuild sits toward the lower end of the range; a full pipeline build including website is toward the higher end.
No. Optimize retainers run month-to-month after the first 90 days. We ask for 90 days upfront because that's the minimum window to see meaningful movement on cost per lead and conversion metrics. After that, you can continue, pause, or stop with 30 days' notice.
Most agencies take the order. We diagnose first. That's the core difference. We came up inside operating companies, not agency floors, so we show up as business thinkers, not vendors executing a brief. And if we don't think we can move the needle for you, we'll tell you before taking your money.
